"Una Storia Qualunque": Book presentation with Enzo Galdi
The Jesolo Public Library welcomes Enzo Galdi for the presentation of his book "Una Storia Qualunque: Un Romanzo di Musica e d'Amore" on Friday 24 May 2024 at 5.30 pm.
It tells the story of the 1950s, following a group of young people through their everyday life of school, summers and holidays, friendships and love, in a Naples that reveals itself in a new, human and authentic light. Love, the ecstatic feeling of the heart, finds its supreme setting in music, transforming the novel into a sort of initiation into music itself, love and life.
The presentation will be moderated by Dr Giuseppe La Pira and Dr Emanuela Savoldi, with readings and music provided by Maria Angela Galdi (voice) and Antonio Maria Galdi (saxophone).
