On 14 March at 20:30 we invite you to the former Barracks of Cortellazzo for an informative meeting led by local historian Giuseppe Artesi, focusing on the history of Cortellazzo and its transformations over time.
During the evening, topics of great historical relevance will be discussed, including:
- the 19th century excavations and the mosaics found dating back to the 6th century
- the battles on the Canal d'Arco against the Heracleans in 730 AD,
- the diversion of the Piave River and the evolution of the hydrographic network,
- the analysis of ancient maps with the first reference to Cortellazzo dated 1532,
- the floods and historical events that have marked the territory up to the present day.
