The Veneto Regional Chess Committee, with the patronage and support of Jesolo Town Council and in collaboration with the Treviso Chess Association, is organising the 2026 Regional Blitz Championship, a tournament valid for FIDE Blitz Elo ratings.
The competition will consist of 11 rounds using the Swiss system. The time control is 3 minutes plus 2 seconds increment from the first move.
The championship is open to all players registered with a club in the Veneto region; a standard membership card is sufficient to participate.
The event will take place on 6 April from 14:00 to 19:00 at the Teatro A. Vivaldi, Via del Bersagliere 1, Jesolo. The entry fee is €10.
